i have the same thing done. I said why pay the $90 or w/e for the EHS racing lid when you could simpley by the air box cover outerwears for $19 then just cut your airbox. wanna know a mod i have... a NOS can setup haha I will take pictures so people can laugh but it looks good.

thanks pipeless i thought they were pretty good too. i like to do stuff like this just to try it and most of the time they are good mods and i try to make most of my mods vary functional. and who said a 16-17 year old can't do great things lol
Posted by: j450rking
by the way all of these mods were under $50!
Posted by: FoxHondaRider
what!? seriously? i'm curious to find out if the cbr oil cooler made the engine un any cooler or if you noticed anything different besides having to put more oil in the tank

well i don't know what the oil temp was before but with the air scoops and the cbr oil cooler i have never had the oil over 250 degrees so i think that is pretty good seeing as i have herd of stock ex's hitting 300 degrees
Posted by: FoxHondaRider
yeah if you saw a 50 degree drop thats really good!
Posted by: j450rking
well i don't know what it was before i did my build but i think even if it is the same as a stock engine temp then it is pretty good

how did you do the greasable swinger bolt? just drill a long hole most of the length of it and drill 2 others down into it and put a grease fitting on the end? or what

i might be wrong, but i think the swinger bolt is hollow, so he just drilled the two holes through it at the bushing points, and then tapped a hole for the grease zerk on the end.

O i see i forgot they were hollow, haven't had mine out in a while hope it isn't frozen haha
Posted by: j450rking
yeah it's hollow and that mod works great. by the way if anybody has any good mods then post them on here it would be realy cool if we got a bunch of cool mods and the thread was made into a sticky. but don't post unclean mods that don't do anything or look like crap

sweet mods. i like the cpu in the par pad idea.
Posted by: j450rking
thanks it's in a much better place and it makes it so you don't have to use those crapy plastic mounts they give you. oh btw i had my trail tech speedo go all crazy on me and they sent me a new one so trail tech is definetly a good company
