will a 400ex axle fit into 300ex carrier and bearings. or do i need to to a carrier swap also.

i have "heard" these can be made to work with a spacer ring used on the brake side but i havent done it personally,i think "Markvette" has though.

dose a 350x axle fit in the 300ex carrier, i think thats what i have and how much wider is a 400ex axle then a 350x axle.

350x axle will fit in the 300ex axle. need to shim it on the brake side though. 400ex axle won't fit, the bearing area is to wide.
