Has anyone ever raced at this small trak called South Woods in monticello NY? If so, how was it?

Are you sure that track is still there? I can ride there from my house, but I heard the track got torn down

I live in Westbrookville, exit 112 on rt 17....

Ive never even seen the track, but its at Holiday mountain right? Ive ridden on the ski slope, its 11 miles(by trail) from my back yard, a guy I talked to while riding said they flattened the track and its not there, I dont know if thats true or not

Nope. Its there and they still do it durring the summer. 75ft. tabeltop. and some sand hill berm roost thing. lol. I live on exit... well not an exit. But its near the only Red light on rt 17. Near exit 97 . Between Liberty and Livingston Manor. Its a small town called Parksville. How many people do you ride with?

Maybe we can ride together sometime, I usually end up riding alone because no one I know drives!

There are flat track races at the Orange County Fairgrounds this winter, every weekend in January. Think you would be interested?? Its a small track(very small) its non-AMA, nothing special is requires, nerfs and a kill switch and you will be set. There is a beginner class, amatuer, and Pro for quads. It was a lot of fun last year

Southwoods still has a track. This summer they had 4 races their. It's a fun track, but gets rutted up because most of the tracks is a mix of sand and loose dirt. It's now located at Holiday Mountain ski hill. Theres like a 25 foot tabletop and 15 foot double. Theres also a long straightaway, and an uphill section that is completely sand. About 10 years ago it used to be in a different location, but the track had to move because the owner didn't want them their. Now where it used to be is just a beat down track. Theres still some small jumps their but its still a fun place to ride. I live in monticello, we should go riding some time.

Yea I know exactly where Monticello and Liberty are, we should get together and ride some time.
I don't snowboard, not graceful enough.
