I am having trouble getting this to fit. My intake seems to point the spacer tube that comes with the kit straight into the frame, did you have to dent the tube to make it fit? Anybody got any suggestions? Reed spacer/ no reed spacer, what intake boot? what intake? Pictures?

mine has a slight dent in it where its for the frame. It still flows well though. Sorry no pics of it on

That is why the Filter is like angled. You can go to hardware store and get tubing that fits the carb and aluminum sleeve. It should be a cheap fix. They also make those new stainless steel clamps with plastic wingnuts. Nice!!!

Do the piece that attaches to the carb first, then the sleeve, last put the filter on.

Sometimes it helps to undo the top bolt on the rear shock and assemble the airflow first, then bolt the shock back up. I know...pain in the arse but it is just too compact back there! Try throwing a ESR Center Mount into the pic.
