well i was out riding. and wheeler just quit. it still has compression...it just feels like it has no spark...i can kick and kick and kick and nothing changes. its jetted correctly. and it does have spark. its not very good. but its there. there is a little rip in the intake boot. idk if that would make much of a difference. espescially make it not start =\ any ideas will be nice...thanks.

any ideas where to buy the boot from? its a 38mm carb so it has to be a bigger boot.

depends if it's a stock reed cage or aftermarket... if it's aftermarket you can get one from the manufacturer. carb size is measured from the ID, so a stock one, if new and flexible, should still work.

they make boots that are for the trx and are already made to accept 38-39 carbs. keihin and carb parts warehouse have them I'm sure sponsers of this site have them, and also you can find them on ebay.

did u take out the plug and see it if has spark? is fuel going into the carb? check the basics first, and get a new boot. it will cause an air leak and the motor will run lean and erract.

My dad and one of my buddies have warriors and their intake boot would leak cuz it would get a crack in it. Then it would run like total junk, It wouldn't start. So I would say yup, get a new boot.

Mine did that this weekend and it turned out to be a BROKEN reed.
