just got done breaking in my new esr 310,unported,it feels pretty much the same as my ported 265 that had 220psi. my question is just after break in im pumping up to 190 psi on the esr build. i was just wondering if you guys are doing any head mods to the esr heads to bump up compression? i do plan on having neil port my cylinder when i put a new piston in. i run a 38a/s 180 main, 50 pilot, middle clip, trx 6 pipe and open/cut box and k&n and i still walk away from banshees w 18's and 14/36 gearing.

You don't mod ESR heads, you change the domes in the them for different compression ratios. Really no way to know what your compression should be without knowing what dome you have.

ESR could have set you up with a different dome when you ordered it. You'll need to change it out, but kiss the pump gas goodbye.
That thing's pushing 50 horses with another 3 with a port job. What are you trying to do with that beast?
