well i think i need to replace my rings again, and i just got it put back together. my one buddy told me i could be running to lean which will cause me the go through rings like madd.

i think i need new rigs cuz its smokeing again, and yes it backfires like crazy when deceleration.

put a bigger pilot (slow) jet in and see how it runs. if nothing, try messing with the needle.

I'd wager you are probably running a bit too lean on the bottom and the top.

Are you re-honing your sleeve when you replace the rings? You really do need too. You need the cross hatching to help the 2 parts mate together.

If you have a local atv/cart dyno, they can usually get it dialed in very good for you for not too much money. Always err on the rich side, then you can dial it back.

Are you running airbox lid off w/ aftermarket filter?
If so, with your mods you should probably be in the range of a 40-42 pilot jet, and a 132-135 main jet. Keihin jets.

yes i am going to re-hone it. im not 100% sure if i need rigs cuz it only smoke when i get into reslly high rpm's. like if i smash the the gas then let off it smokes. Butt ya i decided id have my buddy help me with the carb insted of taking it to a show.

so i got my plastics and gas tank off today and im gunna tear into her when i get my rings and gasket set. Hope to have her done after this weekend, And im going to re-hone it too just so you guys know. and anyone have an aftermarket slip on they want to sell cheap i need one.

my quad is smoking on de-acceleration what dose that mean is bad. Cuz i dont think the rings are bad i just got it put back together for about 3 months maybe 4 and just dont see how they would go that fast.
