i just adjusted my valves on my 2000 400ex. when i was turning my crank bolt to line up the timing mark i was turning it clockwise, after the fact i saw a form that said turn the crank counter clockwise and never to turn it clockwise. what happens when you turn the crank bolt clockwise???? bike is running fine was just wondering why it said that, Thanks

it said not to trun clockwise cause i think, im not sure but i think its got something to do with the decompressor. not that it would damage it ar anything, but it was something. not really any help am i?
i did the samething, and my bike was fine. i wouldnt sweat it.
