I am starting my bike for the first time in 3 years, will I have a problem starting it? I know to dump the gas in the gas tank and put in fresh gas, what else do you recommend I do?

Clean/blow out the entire fuel system, that includes the carb and jet passages. Check the float height. Clean and oil the air filter. If you didn't fog the cylinder before storing I'd pour a capful of engine oil in the cylinder and crank it a few times with the plug out. Then try to start it. Ride it around for a while and get it good and warmed up. Then check your valve clearance.
