Has anybody switched to a twist throttle. If so could you give me some feedback, do your kids prefer it. Is it easier?
Pro's / Cons.

Thanks

I bought and recently sold a Pred 90. My daughter hated it. She said in the woops it was hard to hang on to and would give her whiskey throttle. She said it was too hard to get used to on a quad so Dad changed it.

does not work well on quads, i speak fro my own experiance, bad in the woops and even worse on jumps, my 2 cent leave them for the 2 wheel crowd.

Depends on how new & timid the rider is.
My little rider started last year on his DRX 50cc pumping the thumb throttle, he fell 2 positions on the last lap and missed the podeum of his first WORCS race last year because of thumb cramps.
He then demanded a twist and has never looked back since.

My ears are at peace now as I do not hear that all infamous annoying sound of the of rrrrrrrr, rrrrrrrr, rrrrrr, rrrrrrrr, rrrrrrrr, throttle pump out on the track.

The same goes with many other riders we have changed to a twist. They do ride faster if that is what you are after...
