Fullbore vs maier ?

I am looking to change the plastic on my 300 to blue. I like the fullbore front end, which is farely pricey. I was wondering if I was to get a fullbore front end and save money by getting a maier back, would the two blues match?
If not I am considering putting a white back, blue front.

Im pretty sure that the blues will not be the same the maier blue is a little bit lighter

Does maier make a non race cut plastic for a 300. I like the race cut look but I do alot of trail riding and mudding. if so does anyone have a pic?

The newer maier is somewhat shiny, not as shiny as fullbore, but shiny. The stuff on my R is shiny, atleast.

Yeah Tracis Quad is def. prob. the most badass of all 300s out there!! That thng HAULS, she can keep up with Stephanie anywhere, and stephanie runs a stroker kit in her 400 i believe!

Actually when you compare the two side by side, one is as shiny as the other. They are both made using the same process now - a shiny cap sheet over dull vacuum formed plastic. OEM plastic is injection molded.

Here's a pic of the shiny green on a 400ex when I was first getting it rolling again from a ground up rebuild:

Sorry, I didn't mean to start any fights. I apoligize for anthything I said that may have ofended anyone. Another question. Is the fullbore shinnyer than the stock? I'm hopeing to not have to replace the stock back.

If you've ever used your stock back, or washed it, or anything, the fullbore will be shinier...

Do you think it would be really noticable, and look bad?
My back end is still farely new with only a few nicks.
I figured I would cover them up with decals.

Maier has styled 300ex plastic also. It looks more like the 450r style plastic.
