Hey guys,
I was just wondering whitch quad i should get, i know i said i was gunna get a 400ex, but now i am debating. Whitch one should i get 2007 400ex or a 2008 Z400 Special Edition???????
Whats ur guys opinion???????

I think you know what most of us in the 400ex section are going to say. lol, so ya, I vote for the ex. But for a few good reasons, my buddy had a z400, and i spent alot of time on it, and i just couldnt get comfortable on it, the ex sits quite a bit lower and feels a lot more planted, it has a lot more flywheel, for low end torque, it helps when you need to do some technical things on the trails, like water/mud, hopping logs, or climbing hills. And his z wasnt much fater than my ex, we probably raced 100 times and my ex with a slip-on would be about 1-1 1/2 quadlenths, sometimes less. After my buddy got rid of his z400 for a yfz 450, he even told me he liked the ex better than the z, i thought it was funny because he used to talk so much **** about my ex, too. O yeah and another good reason to buy the ex, is it's a honda, you really cant kill them. I've beat mine so bad, crashed, flipped, hit tree's, and no problems. Go with the ex, you wont be sorry

agreed nothing runs like a honda cause you cant kill them. they are the most reliable engines out there

go with the 08 400ex, it looks so much better. But if it's alot more money than the 07, it's really not worth it.

Yeah, i would get the 07 cause i can get it for $4700 ood price. And the 08 will be like $6300 ood price.

Plus, the difference between the 07 and 08 is the plastics and stickers.

Yeah I hear you on that! I just like the way the 08 looks so much better than my 05, but I'm not going to buy one just for the looks either.
