I need a measurement. I bought a 400EX Carrier (I think) and was led to believe that it would work on a 250R, but I think that is incorrect.

Can someone take a measurement of their carrier from the edge that hits the swingarm on the left to the slot where the clip holds it in?

The one that I bought measures 6.75", I think it should be closer to like 6.5". Just need confirmation before making another purchase.

Member 250R-Dee aka 250rjapan used to answer a lot of these questions about using 400ex components. I bet if search this forum for 400ex axle/carrier etc you'd have your answer. His posts used to be pretty detailed on exactly what you needed to make it work.
