so i can get a sweet deal on an AXIS 400ex rear shock. now i know you can swap the hole rear of a 400ex on to a 250r, but i already have a 250r style burguard swinger and would like to keep it. so will a remote rezzi 400ex style shock fit on my R swinger?

I don't know if this is enough help, but I know someone that had a 400ex rear shock on their 250R and they either had to use the 400ex linkage or an 86 style linkage because it is longer.

Maybe someone else can give better detail.

well i still have my 87' linkage, so if thats the case, it might work out. i think im going to try it. thanks man

i've put an 86 250r shock on a 400ex before but had to swap the bottom eyelet where it hookes up to the linkage.
