I just heard from my husband's cousin that someone was killed out at Livingston and it is now closed. He said there are cops back there on quads giving tickets and impounding anyone they see. Has anyone been up there lately?

Bump! cmon, someone has to have a little info on this?! I'm curious as ****, was planning a trip there the 15-17 Nov.

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

People are always getting killed there! Haven't heard about it being closed tho. I hate to say it but it needs to be closed down. Its out of control down there.

Posted by: waloud

I was there 2 weeks ago and had a good time. I saw where someone had a memorial set up. There was a pretty good crowd that day. They just had a clean up the weekend before and you could till the difference. The place was a lot cleaner, and they had some signs up marking the boundry.

Supposedly Livingston's been closed down for 6 years but somehow it remains open so that more and more people can die there...so I guess keep drinkin in it up and keep killin yourselves...

yep, i talked to an old man down there once and I said I heard livingston will be closed soon. he laughed and said that they have been saying that for 20 years and to not even pay attention to it.

Still ,the best place to ride in Ky.

Ya, 10 years ago! Its only half the size it was then and now there are 50 times the amount of drunk people going there!:grr

I believe that just about anywhere you go you will find some drunks. I will admit that somebody needs to patrol livingston. I will also say that it is still a great place to ride. I've been lucky that the times I've been there it wasn't crowded.

They need to enforce wearing helmets down there...I know its a personal choice but there are too many idiots splitting their heads open on the pink rocks.
I prefer MP offroad or BigRock, paying to ride tends to weed out some of the idiots and drunks...

BTW. is anyone riding in Livingston this weekend?

Next weekend bro! 15-17 Nov. There will be a post up here soon about the trip. Gonna be a combination: Hopefully S-tree during the day and Livingston for night rides. Something like that. Big group of us so far. Bout 15 of us right now.

Don't you have to be a payed member to ride at S-tree???

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

Saddleback!

Posted by:

See I knew it was S------ sometin..

Posted by: waloud

Where is S tree?
Has anyone rode at saddleback? I went out there about a year ago and thought it was a little high.

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

Its in Jackson county, near Berea
I used to be a member of Saddleback. I may join again since they just bought 150 more acres.

They better not close Livingston. It's my favorite place. I can ride the quad, and wheel my truck, and then party my *** off. Going down this weekend as a matter of fact. Too bad the EX isnt running.

Posted by: BPnKY

I was @ livingston this weekend, it is not closed down! it will always be open!

Posted by: 400ex00

i was down there there 1 week ago and there was plenty of
people there and no one was out writing tickets. go on and
enjoy the riding i dont believe that theres anything to worry
about

Posted by: velociraptor

Jeff how bad is it down there at Livingston, I know you used to go down there a lot, is it worth the trip? I have never been there

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

Its just getting bad with all the drunks and people not wearing helmets!!! The land is tore up pretty bad. They keep making it smaller and smaller but more people are showing up and making it look like a bomb was dropped on it.

Posted by: velociraptor

So would s-tree be a better place to go? I don't want to have to worry about getting hit by some drunk dude in a buggy or truck when riding at Livinston. It's not like you don' t have enough to concentrate on while riding.

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

S-Tree is okay but Mountain Parkway is better.
