Recently bought a used 05 700KQ and though it is in excellent condtion it seems to run hot after a short while and the fan will pretty much run constantly. The coolant level is fine, the radiator has been cleaned and oil is good. Just wondering if this a common problem or what. Any answers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I also have an 05, I had a problem with mine overheating, but the fan wasnt kicking in. I just hot wired the fan to a switch and no problem so far. I would recommend doing this if you havent already. Let me know if you have any questions.

Don't seem to have problem with the fan running,it seems like its almost always on!The coolant seems to be circulating cuz the radiator is always hot. dont know what to think never had this kinda problem before with any of my other bikes. thanks for the tip, if my fan ever starts acting up i will wire it up to a switch.thanks

try switching to engine ice. it helped mine. at low RPMs the king quads timing is retarted too far. Which in turn causes the over heating. VDI fixed this issue
