I just picked up a 2002 suzuki 50 and it seems alittle restricted. It only goes about 10 mph, if I had to guess. This model is 2 stroke. What restrictions can I remove and how do u do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We had an '03 so I am going to assume they are the same. There is a restricting washer in the exhaust where the exhaust pipe bolts to the head. The spark arrestor on these models is also very restrictive. There is also a restrictor in the intake manifold between the carburetor and head. When you remove the intake restrictor, you also have to remove the small stacked main jet. The main jet screws into the carb and the small restrictor jet screws into the main jet.
