Anyone know what carb is on the 06 yfz. My friend has a jet kit he said I can have for my 08 honda 450r and I want to know if it will work or not. My 450r has the fcr carb with the jets fit it?

the yfz for sure has a 39mm fcr kehien carb and i think the honda has a 42mm fcr carb . correct me if im wrong

from the yami carb to a honda carb? or just on the carb itself. cause i dont know if the yamaha to honda carb would be interchangable but you could give it a shot if you like

you might be able to because the there the same carb with a different bore mm but not for sure. I would ask your dealer and see what he says.

the yfz fcr jet kit will fit in the 06 45r fcr will the jetting be correct? might be close

Thanks Colby. I still might have to just order some mains from you. I remember you telling me the hrc jetting would work for me so I will try it and see how it goes.

The newer 450r's have a 40mm FCR carb and the older ones have a 42mm butterfly type carb. The FCR is better.
