Is Can-Am going to race the DS450 in the Baja 1000? So far All I have seen is a Sportsman ATV class team on the Renegade 800

Not sure. I kinda doubt it though. The DS really doesn't seem to be built for Baha style racing.

I would be interesting to see how it holds up to the torture though.

They seem to favor the Outlander, or the Renegade these days....I would think they would stick with that.

Also depends on the riders they are using....If they feel they have to run Josh, then they may not even be there....being that the WORCS Schedule is somewhat conflicting. I know a teammate of mine, Brandon Brown, is being forced to do some interesting planning, to run both the 1000 and the last round of WORCS. Maybe Can-Am won't even worry about it this year....which would be unfortunate.

Who knows though, they may go ahead and run it....which would be pretty cool.

Just have to wait and see I guess.

I heard a rumor down here in Tijuana, Mex. that CanAm contacted the Mexican team that raced with BRP and won some races and championships with them in the SCORE series on the DS650 a couple of years ago. They wanted them to race on the new DS450 but I dont know if they will cause they are all doing other things now. Some are racing cars, others dirtbikes so who knows.

Ok, I talked to Josh just a few hours ago. As far as he knows, they will be racing the 1000 on a DS450

I was told they were going to race on one of his dads' DS 650s'. But that is cool if they race a ds450. I guess he has the hook up right there.
