Has anyone had success on buying the extra foam that will make the seat thicker and then just recovering the seat? I am looking into this and i was just wondering. My body's gettign old i guess

I would just buy a 06 or newer seat

We took my wife's '05 seat to a local apolstry guy and he carved out some of the hard foam, put new, lighter foam in it and then added extra material (carbon fibor look) to the edges of the seat cover. This helped alot and it cost under $40.. Highly recommend this. Since then he has done this to 6-7 YFZ seats..
