DG Swing arm trouble

I have ordered two DG swing arm plates for my 2002 400EX. The bolt holes on both swing arm plates do not line up. I can get three of the bolts to go, but the fourth one will not. I haven't returned the second one yet. Should I (1.) return it and get my $90 back or (2.) keep it and just drill the holes so that it fits.
If I do return it what is a go brand to go with?

if that is the new model dg send it back i ordered one for a quick fix for the st clairsville gncc got it on friday bolted it on 3 1/2 inches of clearence from ground to bottom of plate needless to say it ruined my day and i had to drill the holes out bigger

loosen up the other three then put the 4th bolt in , thats what i do with mine, No offence dude but Dg skids are junk.

Thanks. I really don't know the difference in quality. I thought about PRM or Pro armor. My dealer just told me that DG is who supplies them. I really didn't have much of a selection.

i wouldnt by an ac, i did and it is junk, bends all to **** and the welds break. i am going with pro armor or a stainless when i get the cash. but it there are no rocks where you ride the ac will hold up just fine

Send it back and get a PRM...from the quadshop..AC and DG skids are made of aluminum foil..

I'm gonna second Rico's motion. I have an PRM belly skid that has taken some pretty hard beatings and it still in great shape. My buddy's ac swingarm skid got bent up on a MX track. MX tracks are pretty soft. I would hate to see that after XC race

i doubt they want it back it is pretty much junk even though i just got it in the end of the summer

I have to agree with all the people that said DG is junk...I ran their skids on my Blaster and the mounts ended up cracking

Posted by: Poyntman400ex

I'm going with PRM. Thanks eveybody.
