I friend of mine were playing around last night an welded up his stock (crf450) exhaust to fit on my 400 ex for a slip on. lolol Sounds mean as hell and looks damn good. Could there be any gains with such a slip on?? Or just useless fun??

Depends on if you have any other mods. If you don't, it won't make anymore power than it did before.

Rode it today with the 450 slipon. Sounds great but bogs down and dies after about 3 mins of riding def need to be jetted So not sure if i should try jetting it wih it on there or not??.

I just remberd that i plugged my gas cap line today so that could have been it!

does it stick out past the grab bar? If it does then I wouldn't use it. But I like to pop wheelies, maybe you don't...
