Anybody been to Gravity Park in Chilton?
Are there other mx tracks in the area? (not trail riding, but actual tracks)
What's your favorite? Do you have a link to it or pictures?

Posted by: zarquon442

From hartford here.

Posted by: alberndt

Hey mxgirl-Gravity Park's website is www.fantasymoto.com. I plan on starting racing there this summer and can't wait to clear the 80' triple.

Posted by: Speed Steven

I`m from west bend wis. but now live in phoenix area I went from the closest track being about 2hrs. away to having a track 10 min. away & 4 or 5 within 1 hour. I also have acess to endless desert trails & open desert, I love it

Posted by: alberndt

I'm jealous because it just snowed another 3 inches here and I've been freezing my bag off since November.

Posted by: mxgirl

alberndt - Thanks for the link to Gravity Park. We'll have to check it out sometime this summer when we're up there for the CORR series.

speed steven - we're also from the phx area. we'll be at speedworld this Friday. There are a lot of tracks down here.... and Glamis and Buttercup are only a few hours away too.

You are right about glamis & buttercup, I forgot to mention them I hope to be at eloy this weekend getting ready for the next state champ. series race.Do you race? If so what class? What series? what #?

Posted by: mxgirl

I haven't race for over a year..... broke my femur at Verde last March.

I finished in 3rd (Quad Amatuer) in the 2001 State Champ. Series in 2001. Greg Saenz finished 1st on a 440 and Jason Weller finished 2nd on a Raptor...... now they both race pro (heck, you probably know them )

I'm #19 and my husband, Jeff, is #34

How about you? We'll have to look for ya out at the track.

Posted by: Speed Steven

Yea I know those guys, I raced a few races in intermediate last year & won most of them. This year I`m racing pro. I`m # 18, I`ll make sure if I see you guys to say hi.

Posted by: mxgirl

Sounds good! We'll watch for you out there.
We're thinking of hitting Ocotillo for the 2/15 race. We haven't been down there yet, but hear it's similar to Verde.

How do you like Ocotillo?

Posted by: Speed Steven

I haven`t been to ocotillo yet, if it is like verde it will be fun, lots-o-jumps. Look forward to meeting you guys

I'm from Janesville area. My family attends some of the races at Lake Geneva, an AMA District 16 track and info is on there site. We do not currently race though. Also ride in Ashland county and Juneau county. A good site to check out is wisconsinatv.com they set up a ride, all over wisconsin, every month.

Rice Lake here.

Posted by: wheeltrax

Im from muskego area, and have a cottage up in juneau county. I ride the clark county and black river falls trails often..

Posted by: BuB400

Are they going to let quads race at Lake Geneva this year? I heard that they are racing flat track at Wilmot Speedway.

Posted by: 440's necessary

I am from Green Bay. I race at Gravity park, I took 2nd quad A last season. It is a great time there. There are about 4 bonified tracks within 1 hour of green bay. You guys should go to fantasymoto.com, and click on the quad series link. We have quite a few tracks in the series. The payout is worth the ride. The competition is tough and so are the tracks. Last year Gravity park had an uphill whoops section, very challenging. I make up most of my time in there. They change the track every year so far. Not just the faces of the jumps either. They re-route traffic completely, so pay attention your first time. They had 2 40 ft. doubles, a spectator tabletop, and two whoops sections. Come on down. They trophy to fifth. Cash classes. Flat track( they have a 1/3 mile oval) and TT events. Tommy Clower dirtbike stunt show, (sponsored by Red Bull). Just 3 hours north of Chicago.

Posted by: alberndt

I plan on practicing at Gravity Park all summer, and racing here and there, its my first season. I just want to hit the spectator jump!
