I cant figure out why my clutch is slippen. can some one help me. I took the cover of why it was runing and the front variator was working. could the rear spring be wore out, it is a black coso 1500 rpm.Its a apex 70cc

Is the belt spinning while it's running? If so than you've got some broken tranny gears to replace.

With the cover off grab the rear clutch bell and try to turn it should move the rear wheels. If it does gears should be good. Next I would check the 3 shoe clutch and bell if the bell is discolored thats more than likely whats wrong. The stock FRC clutches do not last long. If the belt is slipping there should be alot of black dust.

Before you break another trans need to beef it up. With a bushing and trans saver kit.
