I have basic scratches on my 400's plastics... Do you think I could wet sand the plastic with like 1000 or 1200 grit paper,, then buff the plastic and make it look almost like new again... I would just like to get all the plastic looking good again..

if this was possibly and make plastics look brand new, then one would would waste money on new ones. you can try it, it might look a litttle beter...

you might try this torch thing. I read it on here a while back and if you hold the torch at the right angle it makes it shiney. I could see how it would work but i haven';t tried it yet. your could also get some plastic renew from rocky mountain atv for like 22 bucks.

i use pc renew. i know its a shi* load o work, but it all pays off. And a little hint. if you dont care about a few little scratches, just apply the renew witout sanding. it looks bad @$$. i do hear good things about this torchin thing, keep it 6 inches from the plastic, and keep it movin. i aint tryin it though, ill let u, and u can tell me how it works. :devil :devil :devil

Just get you a rag and a couple coats of Mop-N-Glo. Plastic will look better than new and it stays on for alot of washings !

plastic renew is a joke, it looks good for a few days....unless you ride it, i did it to mine and it RUINED the plastic, yep it actually made it look worse than before...once the crap gets scratched off you will wish you never did it, and with new plastic running only 120$ why waste money on something thats only doin a half@$$ job?
