Why is the TRX 90 the only small quad to not have a factory headlight and do any of you know were one might purchase a kit to install one on a 2002 and what the cost might be.

Thanks,
Paul

you need to go find an- "EX" sticker and put on that trx 90
man- make it part of the family- don't leave the little guy out
-

could you post some pics of your line up for us

The government thinks it promotes kids riding at night. Very few kiddie quads come with lights.

i ride with mine on sometimes-
me and another rider 400ex were doin' do-nutts
and he came out of one in a wheelie- right at me-
we couldn't see each other untill the last minute
he hit the brakes- i gassed it-
now when it's dusty we ride with them on-

EX-CITING 300,
I do not have one of those fancy digtal cameras (keep looking at them but just can't seem to part with the cash, could use the money for hop up parts on the quad) but as soon as I get some pictures I will post them.

Paul

Also after looking again at the others I see that they all do not have lights like I had thought earlier but I still think they should.

We put headlights on our Suzuki LT80s....We bought the kit with two rectangular foglights (like you'd put on a jeep or somethin), then just bought some power switches and wired it into the ignition. The mounting brackets that came with the lights fit perfect to mount them on the front bumper of the Suzuki...I'm sure you could do somethin similar to the 90...My cousin needs a new fourwheeler and we wanted to get him a Honda 90..We have a Yukon XL 150 but it sucks major <censored>. Not sure what to get him now.....hes not quite big enough for a 250EX yet.

Funny this subject came up,,,dirtwheels just did an article on kids quads not having lights,,,pretty stupid I think,,why we have em and kids don't,,,maybe email or call ricky stator and ask him what you can do,,,,he's the lighting king..for quads.

The reason they did not intall the light was......

at the time, they didn't think it was a BRIGHT idea!

Oh brother JabberJaw

Posted by: "BLAHH"300!!

i wrecked yay woo hoo-
and cracked my headlight plastic and took off my bar plastic
now i'm thinking of putting on some fog lights-
like in my signature- has anyone else done this so far-
i went to wal-mart the other night to scope out the situation
and found the lights i wanted but i'm not sure it it's really what i want- there $30.00 about 2 inches round -witch is cool but. they put out an amber light- ????? thats whats messin' me up-
would the amber light be worth having- for a main light-
i ride at night, in some thick woods and you never know when that tree's ganna' get drunk and step out into the trail- the stocker is bright as- pooh- also- will i be able to use my stock light switch- / the high // low beams and such- ?? what brand lights should i get ??- nd should i get the amber light or the regular white light- ??

I dont think the amber light will work at all. I saw some cool lights at Pep-Boys auto store.

Posted by: "BLAHH"300!!

kiddding- why wouldn't the amber lights work-
know what the name of the lights were at pep-boys

Wierd this thread just came up because I was just reading the latest ATVsport and they did a article on how the new raptor 80 has fake headlights and why almost all the kids quads have no headlights.
