I just traded in my Honda 250ES for a Kodiak 450. Of course the automatic transmission makes a big difference from the electronic shift feature of the Honda, but the 4X4 drive is the main reason I made the switch. I've had it out on the trail twice now and I know I made the right choice. It climbs well on rock and in mud. Climbing a hill rather than taking it on the run makes riding more comfortable and fun. Here's my bike on the trail down to Powell Lake in Powell River, BC.
