I was asking this because my cousins cousin/my friend Ian races professionally and I think he told me he has 65 or 70HP. All I know is he spent something rediculous like 16k on the motor to get it there. In other forums people are saying 65hp is the highest you will most like;y ever see but I said no I know there are a little higher than that.

yes ,at quebec canada , my friend (just talk to em in internet) had 66 whp ... the engine is allways at the garage ... allways broken but when it work it is terrible

why would someone want that much power for that little amount of time. you can get a good amount of power for a long time with a big bore kit and pipe

well my friends race yfz was reliable. well considering he had 16k into it because he is a professional racer and needs it to be good. All his stuff was professionally done.

John Natalie said himself once here at a local MX track that he'd rather have a reliable 56hp bike than a 63-64hp bike that is capable of blowing up any time. With a motor maxed out like that it's not going to last long no matter how much money you put into it.

I know around 70 hp the head dosent have enouff clamping preassure to keep head gaskets in it. The have a couple around here that have put up 70 to 80 whp, but usually blow head gaskets every 3 to 4 passes. I know on the drag frame dax's yfz runs 4.1 in 300 ft. I have also seen a raptor on a drag frame run a 3.89 both are on the juice.

Yea there aint nothing better than watching a yfz out run a 7mill banshee. Now dont get me wrong there is only 2 yfzs and maybe 3 raptors that I have seen that can put up those times. All are drag frams which helps a lot.
