Ok right now my son has a Keihn carb, DG type 2 pipe, K&N filter, and a vented air box lid. Here is the problem It won't kick start cold and it won't idle. I am putting it back to the stock carb and air box lid but I am leaving the K&N filter and pipe on it. What jetting should I start with. All of the work was done on this quad when we bought it so I don't know what the jetting was to start with.

check the reeds, starting hard is a good indicator that the reeds are bad. then you could go wit hthe biggest jet you have, and work you rway leaner and leaner until you get it.

Stock intake bar k&n.
stock engine + exhaust bar DG pipe.

start with a 260-270 and work your way down until correct.

I used to run my airboxlid off, K&N, gutted exhaust and wiseco piston and that was only 290
