Look's ight! I'd get rid of the yellow bar pad, the stickers and red numberplates. But that's my 0.02.

Posted by: gcart2

i have a fat pad on the way!!! the yellow 1 was for the yellow plastics!

Posted by: kilabeez0

are you using +2 arms with stock shocks?

and the rear looks too low. otherwise not bad.

Posted by: gcart2

i have +2's all the way (axle and arms) and yes on stockers. i hope to get a SET OF FLOATS FOR CHRISTMAS. I LIKE HOW ITS SET LOW. ill tell you what though. i was hurtin soem 450's. i was killing everyone in the big air we were doing.

Posted by: 73watermutt

Looks cool except for the hood and your shock covers are on upside down. It looks like your nerfs are sagging down in the rear a little.

Posted by: gcart2

i said the same thin gabout the hood but i have grown to like it. yea the covers were upside down but i have waited all summer for his thing o the last thing i was going to do was complain and turn em around... i just fired it up and went racing =)

Posted by: gcart2

bump
even if u have to lie to me tell me something good. i am so proud of this thing. it is faster then most stock bore 400ex's if not all of them. i had to wait all summer to hear this?? o common. lol

Posted by: Pipeless416

loving the silver and red theme. i think a machine billet piece to go in the scoop opening would really look good.

Posted by: gcart2

i have some air scoops going on soon. i just cant figure out the bolt patterns lol.

Posted by: gcart2

o yeqh and pipeless i have me a set of those hp adding stickers on my scoops also lol

Posted by: fastyz85

looks good i like the color scheme as well.

Posted by: Franky G

looks cool but the hood is no too pretty but every body as a different opinion .

Posted by: gcart2

yea the hood is questionable. but its there and i dont plan on taking away. o i just put on my scoops =) n e 1 wanna see pics withem installed?

Posted by: kolby2004

Wow... Everyone is so quick to bash you... jeez... Hey man I think it looks Great! I can tell you put a lot of time and money into it! I think that is was a great transformation! I give you props! Good Job!

Posted by: mx1791

looks good. and if you wanna put up those pics with the scoops id like to see them
but why did you get a fat bar pad if you dont have fat bars?

Posted by: gcart2

i think im being sloppy with my terms when i say "fat bar pad". i mean the fat pad bar pad. you know... the square ones. n e wayz i will get some pcis soon.

Posted by: REDRIDDER

the hood is ugly and the rest is good not many hoods look good on the ex.

Posted by: mx1791

you mean like this right? are you putting it on the bottom of your bars or something?

yep tahts it. i would like to mount on the black bar running across the top... can i do that?. a lot of ppl have mommys and daddys paying for everything for them... i didnt. i dropped all the money into it by my self. also about the hood!!!.... i didnt put it on there. i bought the plastics all together with the hood gqphics etc. used. scratched a little but looks ten times better than stock. i will go get some pics of it with hood now if my sis will let me use her camera. o and i just got off the track and i will say this... stock shocks suck. they hurt.

Posted by: gcart2

what do you think? i like em. they def. stick out.

Posted by: mx1791

i dunno if the pad will work or not but i guess it wont hurt to try.. and i REALLY like those scoops, the whole quad looks good

Posted by: gcart2

ty i like it too

Posted by: 97WarriorRider

What kinda fenders are those?

Posted by: gcart2

maier with a lot of trimming

Posted by: gcart2

about shocks.... i need a set pretty bad. what do you think i can get staying around 0-700. i will be doing mx. reason i need so bad is because there are like 3 or 4 doubles u can make unless your doug gust jason natalie or on a dirtbike. and i hit hard. a link and price range would be nice. also ressies.... do i have to have em? will hurt if i dont? um.. help plz

Posted by: mx1791

rezzies are good so the shocks wont fade, but you could probably manage w/o them. your best bet would be 450r stock shocks, or used TCS or elka on ebay. just go to ebay motors and look for shocks, theres always something within $400-600 on there

Posted by: gcart2

well i weigh 175 with full gear.... i can take it being a little stiff but i need to not bottom out... it hurts lol.

Posted by: mx1791

yea i know what you mean, i used to have +3's on stock shocks, my wrists fell off after every race. look on ebay for elkas or tcs, you will find something and it will be alot better then those pogo stick stockers

Posted by: gcart2

yea ill keep an eye out. i would like to know if "r"'s did the job.

Posted by: gcart2

bump.
calling around and i am going to post some signs at the lakeland mx looking for r stockers. i nbeed them bad. dont really wanna do mx till i get em

Posted by: 97WarriorRider

What kind of hood is that? did you have to cut your plastics at all to get it to fit?

Posted by: gcart2

they are mair race cuts... they have a little trmming on em. and i bought used but yes they bolted right up

Posted by: ctheojr450

I bought the same Pro Armor nerf bars for my EX...It wont be long until you blow out your heel guards...My heel pushed right through on both sides after the cheap aluminum broke off the welds...The broke off all along the footpegs too...I ended up ripping them out and building some 1/4 inch diamond plate replacements.

Posted by: gcart2

i suggest you buy the pro armour pegs. your feet do not come off of em. they arre sharp as can be. my boot never touches the guard... plus the guard is a safety feature not a peg.
