did anyone else supposably get enrolled in the school or "safety course" when they bought thier atv's? I never have heard anything about it since buying my lt-r in nov 06.

They laughed and offered it to me at the dealer... they sponsor me so they know I race. he was like do you need to learn how to ride an atv safely
oh and please sign and check all the things above, no jumping, no riding at excessive speeds, etc....lol

most of the big manufacturers are required to offer this. You get enrolled into the ATV Safety Institute's safety class for no charge, then once you complete it, you get a 100 dollar check from Suzuki. Its only offered on new machines. It took a while to get enrolled, and I did not learn anything. Was it a waste of time? Nope, I got 100 bux for doing it.

i have taken it twice...that $100 check will keep me coming back every time...do i learn anything...nope, do i get yelled at for riding above the level of the class...yes...is it worth $100 you bet...

ya,...$100, thats cool,...i wasn't too worried about it,...i'm sure that i wouldn't learn a whole lot,...since i have been riding for 22 years and I race the intermediate class on my crf,..my wife was gonna do it,...just wondering since it took so long to get my nerfs and easy up when i bought the thing,...no worries...i had actually forgotten about the $100 ha ha..that 3/4 tank of diesel!!
