HMF or Curtis Sparks is the way to go. HMF give great gains and are cheap. Curtis Sparks is by far the best but is quite a bit more expensive.

It sounds SICK!!
mainly a mid-top end gain
didnt ride it yet, but when i do, ill tell you the power increase.
Only paid 105 shipped.
IMO its a great pipe, but theres only 2 better than it, but not by much

yeah the HMF would be my next exhaust if i ever needed one. i've never heard one personally but from the videos i've seen on here they sound sweet. to me they sound just like the old White Brothers R4 pipes.
the price of the HMF is awesome compared to the $359 i paid for my WB E2.

i actually bought it used from someone. They are hard to find since they arent a very common pipe. ill take pics tonight and show you, not a bad pipe.

I run a WB E-series Pro meg system on my 440, It's expensive and kind of a pain to adjust but the power gains are incredible.

the DMC alien dual in my opinion is like a megamax fmf, a lower end exhaust, but for 100 bucks, sure, hmf is good, but sparks is where its at.

i just took my DMC out on the road today, and holy sheep s.h.i.t. Screw HMF and all them, The 400ex has enough low end, why add to it when you can have a awesome mid-top yet keep low. With the DMC it rev'ed alot free'er, it sounds sick, and there was a huge difference in top end power, it had a strong pull all through the powerband.
Dont get me wrong, HMF is a good pipe and all, but it only adds low-mid. If your doing serious-serious trail riding its fine. But i like a top end kick too.
The only downfall, the HMF and DMC are both loud, im allready pissing off my neighbors. lol.

Yeah im stuck between the HMF Ballance series and the white brothers XCR pipe..I see nobody has the XCR but alot of people have HMF pipes..I have a pro circuit on my warrior and i want to try something else on the 400ex
