i was just wondering would a 250r brake stay fit a 400ex so i could use the 250r's caliper on my ex

any help would be great thanks

yes, it does fit. Don't try to use a 250r anti-fade on a 400ex axle though, the circlip is spaced out too far. If you do, use a 250r brake hub and 400ex axle nut.

so i can use just the brake stay to make the caliper fit or do i have to get all the other stuff to?

You would need a 250R rear disc, and the hub also. The 400 rear disc is bigger.
