i am looking to upgrade the front shocks of a kfx400. i would like to stay close to 500 or less. i was thinking of honda 450r shocks, just due to fairly low cost, but i would like input as to any other good options. i ride mostly fast trails and limited mx. preparing for an october run to hatfield mccoy and trying to get the equipment all tuned in. thanks

450r stock shocks vs. works triple rate a/t steel without res. works cost about 390, 450r cost approx. 200, which would be better.

My z400 electrical system was grounding out so I had no power this weekend so I rode my friends 450r and he rode his kawi mini lol and I want a 450r now. The suspension is amazing its like luxury and agressive all in one. Get the 450r shocks.
