You could drive to Canada to get on.

that's old news. 2006 was the last year only for the US. You can buy the 07's, 08's etc out of the US.
It's much cheaper just to buy used ones and build it to your liking. Depending on location, u can get a very nice one for thousands less than MSRP due to the 4 choke, i mean 4 stroke craze.

Just found this thread. I have run across a few dealers here in Ohio and Pa. that still have some left-over '06 Banshees. In fact a friend of mine just picked one up on Monday from a dealer about 20 minutes from my house. They still have three of them in crates.

I have an 08 ltr 450 quad racer it kicks *** but nothing is like a 2 stroke and never will be in my eyes. The sound .exhaust smell and that bottom end rip to them. It sucks that every thing went to the 4 strokes.

The 2008 banshee in orange and black looks nice! I though they said they were supposed to be making the banshee a 4 stroke with something like 75HP stock?

Well, they became the manufacturers new cash cow which they brought to the governing race bodies in a way to make sure that only the current bikes which they can make money on are the only things aloud to enter. How would it look if the newest greatest quad on the planet(according to them), got schooled by an obsolete ride? The market on their new income might severely dwindle.

They will make a four-stroke banshee. I was at an atv show in November. The word I got from a Yamaha rep. there will be a new banshee out using the Phazer motor ( 500cc twin four-stroke) reason not out yet dealers have banshee's still for sale. Also that motor puts out 80hp.

haha, i agree. i believe each one has their place. if you wanna sick drag bike, a 2 stroke twin is the way to go. but MX racing has gone to the 4 strokes.

Just a question, why are you selling the le banshee you just bought from bloodmoney?
But anyways,
Make both banshees you have stock, keep the mods.
Sell the quads.
Go on ebay.ca and find a used 07-08 banshee

well i actually trade my girls quad for bloods bike, i brought it home, i have an 06 for my self which i purchased afterwords, but anyways she hates the shee's, she likes puttin around on her thumper ! to much maintence for her, too much bike ! my 06 is a brand new left over so im not selling that, paid 1200 to get shipped from cali ! but yes bloods old shee is awesome, runs great, fast strong, cleanest 04 i've ever seen. and im selling for $3700-$4200 , taking offers for right now give blood first choice to buy back, i know he misses it, afterall it is an incredible quad.

If you want a Banshee I have a 2003 for sale, very trick, not a drag bike, but an all around bike. I used mainly for the desert and the dunes. Bike needs a new home, it sits too often. You can get more details and photos on the Duncan Racing website under classifieds. Photos will too big to post, I will post some tommorrow from my other computer after I reduce them in size.

Then go to classifieds and take a look.

Sorry to bring up a somewhat old thread but I highly doubt that they will come out with a Banshee with the Phazer engine. Think about all the lawsuits on that one, it'd be the 80's all over again. I could see it happening in a dirtbike, but no one is going to let us ATV people have our day.

Yea no kidding. There was a thing on the news a little while ago (Up here in Canada) about how people want to out-law quads now like they did three wheelers....
