My friend has a stock 450r. He wants to race my new 500. What should i expect? I know i will lose but by how much and what do i have to do to mine to beat him?

What quad do you have, you just said 500? With a Pred or Outlaw, you should be able to hang with a stock 450R. When my Pred was stock I could run right with a 450R. It belongs to a friend, down the road, who has been riding sport quads longer than me. I made some small changes and now I can't get him to race me.

Instead of asking, line em up and find out. Enjoy

start in 2nd and feather the clutch. You will stay close and then pull away up top

Hmmm,
Not sure but my wife rides a 06 pred 500 and all my cousins have 450rs and she spanks them up all the time.I think that if you havnt modded your carb however that they will pull on you in the begining but you should definately catch them in top end.
