I bent my handle bars this past weekend. I was looking online at aftermarket bars and i see high and low versions. I want a bar the same as stock so would that be high or low? Im guessing high. Also do i need to purchase anything with the bars other than a set of girps?
thanks
Dan

You should be able to order after market bars in a "Z" bend.
Look here.....
http://www.tagmetals.us/atv/product...s.php?id=cx5atv
You'll notice there is a listing for an LTZ. If I'm not mistaken this fitment is bend and height.
I'm running a banshee bend Renthal bar which I like. It's a touch taller. I'm surprised Renthal doesn't make a stock replacement. Must be no one likes the stock "Z" bend.

like drzoo2 said the tags on bars will say z400 of kfx400 and the only other thing you will need to worry about is if you want fat style bars (thicker) you will need to get bigger bar clamps inch and 7/8

ok thanks guys...im looking to get something as close to stock as possible. I dont really need fat bars since i dont ride all that much and knowing me ill prob bend them again so id rather go the cheapest way out. Either going stock or something just a litter better than stock. Any recommendations?

Those tag bars are nice and the LTZ shown on the site is a stock bend.

What do you guys do with the nutrel and reverse lights when you put new aftermarket bars on there and the ignition or is there a special clamp for that cause i dont like the look of the stock one

Funny you should ask.
I made one of these and posted over at central a while ago. Next thing I new I was making them for everyone else over there. I had one that went unpaid so I put it on my bike tonight. Replaced an unPC'd one I had on there with this one.
Check it out.

So if i got with aftemarket bars im not going to have a place for the the reverse and neutral lights? BTW that piece you made is real nice!

Thanks. As long as it doesn't have a bar pad and you stick with 7/8 bars you can reuse the stock dash.

40 shipped via paypal with powerder 30 without. I have a red one I can engrave and get right out. IF you want black then It's going to take me a bit to replenish my "stock". If you want to see the red one PM me and I'll send you a link.
