hetricks nerf bar question.

Bought a set of nerf bars from Hetricks racing today and the guy on the phone stated that he remembered an issue with either the shifter or the rear brake lever, but he couldn't remember which or exactly what the issue was. just that there was an issue. Does anyone have a comment or idea of what he might have been talking about? And do you have a solution. Just trying to get a heads up on what I'm in for.

if u bought the rath propegs there is a slight isssue the nerf bar in the front comes back to far and gets in the way of the shifter the most common way to fix it is just to bend the front bar out but i also saw people cut the shifter and shorten the leangth of it

Are they Rath? We have this set. The only thing we had to do to ours was cut the first set of net holders off, where the shifter is. We also had to cut our shifter down because my sons foot it not that big and the shifter was to long. As for bending the nerf, i wish you the best of luck with that and its unneeded. The only problem with the AC is they are weld on and the Rath are bolt on.

Installed my son's yesterday. Learned how to weld in the process. Came out beautiful. Haven't decided whether or not to use the heel guards. The don't fit properly mainly because the are made for the Kasea. I can however have them cut and they would look cool. I will post some pics tomorrow though. Very satisfied. By the way, Hetricks no longer carries AC's. They sell a mirror image made by XFR. Very nice....

Good idea. Not everyone knows everything about everything. Hetrick deserves the benefit of the doubt if for no other reason than they have been at it for a very long time. I remember when Rich and his brother would go to Summit Arenacross 10 years ago and he had been racing a long time before that. They give back to the sport tremendously so when someone on the phone there doesn't know something, just ask for someone else, don't come on here and slam them like an idiot.
