differrent model numbers?

ok i was debating even making a post about such a simple question but ill delete this when either someone knows and explains to me or i find out alot of others are as confused as i am, now when i was looking for oem parts (broke the stupid oil filter cap seals) i saw model numbers ksf450b8f & ksf450b8f"A" now is there a significance of the A or what? and if there is a difference how do i tell which one mine is?

the one with the "a" at the end is the special edition black one. The white and green have no "a"
