alrite.. my 2 month old z400 now has new dg healguard nerf bars and a full hmf exhaust... what should i fo next? im trying to race mx with this, but dont have the money to buy elka shocks.. how big of a difference does the 450 shocks make?

go ahead and get yourself tires and a set of beadlocks on the rear. 18 x 8 rears and 20 x 10 in the front. you can get a set of handle bars, but if you really want to get into motocross your going to want to get a set of a-arms and an extended axle. you can save money on the a-arms if you get standard travel that way you can use your stock shocks. good luck man its expensive

id definatly get an aftermarket cdi, and i would just get your stock shocks revalved (assuming your quad is newer)

and maybe an extended axle and some good tire

its a start anyway...

Only thing bad about a CDI in a stock Z is the valve train. Most guys will tell you to upgrade your valves and springs before a CDI.
