just got a 2003 400ex. this is my first one of these. picked it up for $1100. good shape and runs excellent. it has a white bro's R4 slip on installed. sounds awesome, but how are they when it comes to performance? i havent had a chance to ride it yet, waiting on a carrier for it. the guy said that the carb had been jetted and i seen it had a k&n filter installed. will the slip on perform well with these minor mods? also, did i get a good deal? thanks in adv.

the r4 is a pretty good pipe and the performance gains arent too bad,

yea u got a great deal. i have the white bros R4 and its NEVER dissapointed me. and yes the slip on will work great with the jets(assuming its jetted right) and work great with the the k&n filter

thanks for the info. i cant wait to ride this thing. been waiting a week on my bearings. said 2-3 days shipping. but you know how that goes.
