I've been thinkin bout gettin some haulers or rippers or whatever, but i was just wonderin what your opinion was on the best tire to hook up with. When i go to the dunes i do some drag racin, and i jump some... I'd probly drag more if i had paddles that would hook up. When i bought my R the guy gave me the set of Gecko's... The first time i went to the dunes i thought they worked good, but then realized that they suck. I get smoked by everyone.

My friend had a set of Sandstars on honda wheels that i could get from him since he whent to a YFZ.

Let me know
Thanks

And how would my 310pv pull Rippers? would they be alittle too agressive? would i be better off with Haulers?

On my old 350R, I was running 9 paddle haulers.

i run 7 paddle haulers on my stock bore and i love them.

i run 8 paddle xtremes in the sand

So what style works better? the more flatter lookin kind or the kind that comes to more of a point than the others.

for a 2-stroke the flat kind work better like the haulers or the extremes. Also RMAtv usually has them for cheap. With free shipping.

So i've decided i like the extremes.. they're based off of the Haulers but are thicker... seem to be a good deal at $98/pair

for anything besides dragging, i think sandstars are the best...

ps.... and i do just fine drag racing with them...

they hook up great, and i dont think i could launch faster with haulers, but i may be able to climb the hill a little faster with haulers...

since i have more quads to try en keep up i use the straight blade sand devils by gbc or the ams version at around 36.00 each. on the widest wheel i can buy.

i have found that the v-pattern tires last half as long as the straight blades due to the fact that all the sand is directed to the center and takes out all the material there well before the rest of the tread.

Andrew, On that cylinder I ran 22-11-8 9 paddle haulers superlights 72+R/O. They were a perfect paddle. I ran 14-41 gearing as well and it was about perfect. I ran them on a 8x8 .125 wheel and it ran HARD.
