Anybody know of some good cheap tires for riding on ice? Also could I run my normal tires up front with picks on the back and still turn?

yeah my friend did it in the treads of your quad get some stock tires with all the tread and get a bunch of cheap screws with the head to fit a socket wrench drill them all in and you get good traction idk if you will slide though

order gold screws out of any atv mag. i ice race and they are way better then regular screws. ull wear down regular screws in no time and they dont hook up as good. also DO NOT stud just the rears unless you plan on going in a stragight line.

Thanks for the help. Do I screw the bolts straight into the treads then so the bolt heads are what's giving me traction?

correct. you screw them into the knobs on your tires. depending on what kind of tire you are using you can put more then one in. i used stock 250r tires (brandnew) used 1/2 screws and put 4 per a knob. if your using used tires depending on how much tread is left make sure u either get 7/16 5/8 or 1/2 screws depending on how much tread is there. you DO NOT want them to go all the way threw. if they do when you lose a stud which you will lose a few your tire is going 2 go flat. also i used a battery operated screw gun and put them in that way however. only screw them down till there snug DO NOT screw them in really fast and with alot of force. take your time if u go fast your going to strip the hole in the rubber (very easy to do) then youe going to spit screws like crazy.
