Can someone tell me what is needed to fit 250R plastics to my '03 Cannondale Speed?

A 250R Kit...........and 250R plastic.

where can I find the 250R kit? Any info finding these would really help.

Here is one for sale: http://www.cannondaleriders.com/for...topic=19614&hl=
Basically you just have to search and find a used one. They are pretty rare and aren't cheap.

The walsh kits only hold a gallon of fuel and the seat will be much lower so it wont be very comfortable for anything other than racing short track. Id look into fullbore plastic if you just want a different look.

Agreed, they hold a little more than a gallon and are really only good for MX.

I read somewhere that there were a few 250r conversion tanks made that were larger (> 3 gallons). I assume they would be rare, but is this true? I've always thought I would like the 250r conversion, but not if the only tank I could get would be 1 gallon.

I know where there is a huge aluminum tank 4+ gallons but I dont know if its for the 250r conversion.
Personally I dont like the cobbed on look of the kit .

Thanks for all the info, I still haven't decided on what plastics I'll put on. But need to do something, my last trip to the dunes I went off a 4-5 ft drop off and ended up over the handle bars and quad on top of me. I broke the front and rear plastic on the left side.

Here is a picture of a Dale with Fullbores. The color is not my personal favorite, but others may prefer blue. Anyway, this will give you an idea of what the Fullbore plastics look like.

I don't know if you're still interested in a 250r kit, but here is a link to one on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cann...1QQcmdZViewItem

The fullbores are nice. If they would drop the price a couple hundred they would sell a lot of them.
