Header Glowing @ idle

I put on a two brother slip in and have the power commader installed with the lid off.

I noticed at night when I finished doing the work I started it up to listen to the new exhaust and the header started glowing after a min. or so.

You can't see it glowing in the day time or when you are riding. Is this normal to happen at idle since there is no air cooling it off? and because It is just easier to see at night or in a dark place?

The bike is running rich that is why the pipe is glowing man

if you have rode much at all you know that the head pipe on that bike glows real bad at low idle with a load... there is nothin wrong with the bike and with my air fuel ratio meter on the bike with the power commander it is almost stoichometric which is damn near a perfect burn so no worries...

Well I didn't think it was anything wrong..

I also am running about 101 octane. 108 race gas mix with 93 half and half.

And the bike is definitly not running rich!!!

It is normal... 450s do that.

i asked a similar question earlier, and a guy told me that a buddyy of his had a kx450f dirtbike and his head pipe gets really hot. i think it might be the titanium header thats doing it.

did you notice if it was doing it before you changed everything
