haha lol , im just wondering cuz ppl say they got less power then the 450's

stock for stock the 450 is faster but the pred has about 50cc on them so it would make sense to me that the pred would make the same or alittle more the 450s put out about 43-48 depending on the 450

My 05 troy lee with DMC full system HSP intake dynoed at 46.55 on a dyno at little sahara, it was a tad rich on the topend. Budy of mine also had a 05 tld he had the purepolaris pipe and they ran about identical.

i thought 450s put out 38 with the kfx-r at 40 and ltr at like 37

what you really are looking for here in a good comparison would be the hp to weight ratio, which hurts the pred, it's got 46 horse to their 38, but also 415 lbs to their 375...

I haven't had it on the dyno yet but I can tell you that with the airbox lid removed baffle out and rejetted it is much faster then my predator ever was even with the mods.

the newer 450s (honda and yamaha) put out about 43hp the old ones before like 06 put out about 38 they re did the motors alot on the honda and the yamaha

i coulda sworn it was like this

04-05 450r: 33 hp
04-05 yfz: 36 hp

06+ 450r: 38 hp
06+ yfz: 38 hp

it is higher than that because the 04-05 450s were putting out about the same as a banshee and a banshee puts out about 38 the new ones are about 43-46

All the 450's are rated about 40-42hp at the crank, so they will not have more then that at the wheels. The 450's will run between 36-39hp at the wheels depending on dyno and the person running the dyno. Some dyno's are very inflated. So to get a real idea, take the HP numbers off your C.O. when you buy your quad, and take about 12% off it and will give you a real close idea what it has at the wheels.
