I looked it up on Google. Looks like he flipped a 3 wheeler while out riding with friends. He was wearing a helmet. The friends didn't see what happened.

I hate reading of the deaths, but when it involves the kids it makes me so sad.

Words cannot express how sorry we are for the Miller's loss. Austin was a great kid and I am happy to have known him and Mark and Shannon and Trevor. My last memory of him will be the big smile he had on his face at Wildcat after his name was picked to take a plane ride with Doug Gust. It was the same big smile Austin had on his face the first day I met him, except he was covered from head to toe in so much mud that was about all you could see. No parent should have to bury their child especially at that young of an age. It was really nice seeing people from all over the racing community at the funeral to pay their respects, to see all the quads lined up in front of the church and the kids and friends in their jerseys giving Austin a racer's farewell.
