I don't know for sure, but isn't the carb different to. The 07 had a FCR, but the 08 is a FCR with TPS. That means you can't touch the gas at all like the Honda 450R. This allows the CDI unit to adjust the timing for maximum power output. Air box has also been redesigned according to this site write up.

The 07 has TPS also. The new air box design I think only applies to the 2 new SRA quads 2 make room for the single shock in the middle.

It appears that they only put the Fox shocks back on front of the 525 IRS and it still has the Ryde FX in the back. I do not understand this at all. The Rydes work really well up front it is the Ryde FX in the rear that needed a lot of improvement.

I didn't know the 07 had the TPS. I never heard anyone complaine about starting them when there in the habit of hitting the gas. Even heard some hitting the gas to start. But Honda guys were complaining. So that is why I didn't think it had the TPS.

It sounds like they standardized the fasteners as well. It doesn't bother me but would be nice on my '07 Outlaw 525!
