does the 700 raptor really to over 100mph stock?a dealership my friend called told him they did but i really dont believe it...just need a answer

Yeah, in the back of a speeding truck.

Stock with the speed sensor still plugged in they will run around 75.

If you unplug the speed sensor it will go faster but not sure of exact speed stock but not 100mph.

speed sensor?

the 700r has a speed sensor that retards the timing in fifth which acts as a governor. www.raptorforum.com go there to read more about it. Some guys are running 90mph with a "3mod" 700r.

I suppose a stock Raptor will go 100 miles an hour if you push it out of a plane. Maybe.

70 MPH stock, like almost every single high performance quad today. OEM's dont want the quad going any faster than that stock, liability issues i imagine. But if you unplug the speed sensor (a little plug between the rear shock/motor area ish) it'll probably go about 75.

Keep in mind, this is completely stock.

my z400 with the 13tooth which is one down in the front. sprocket goes right at 70. my friends 700 rappy owns me on topend especailly. his goes faster than 75 for sure. mine would go that fast with the 14t front. and he would still come flying by me. i know mine goes 70 because my friends dad is a cop. therefore he has a lidar gone. which is laser...more accurate. he clocked me at 70. i would say a rappy 700 w/o the speed thing pluged in goes arond 80 to 85 i dont know how fast with out it plugged in my friend hasnt unplugged his yet.

i took my quad to a NHRA certified drag strip and ran it in the 1/4 mile when i first got it. It went 73.56mph and i weighed about 265lbs. the throttle screw wasnt all the way out then. I now have a 15t, PCIII, Pro design intake and stock exhaust with baffle removed. Im not sure what it will do now. def not 100 or even close.

That is a classic case of false advertising. I'd love to make them back it up!
