Can you put a OEM 06 crank in a 05 quad and it make it a true 450? Also will the the Athena big bore kit work with a 06 OEM crank or 06 Hot Rod crank?

Yep! Make sure you get the correct wristpen and piston for that crank as well. The Athena should bolt up no problem. Again, you simply have to order the right setup for the crank and rod.

um... according to hot rods the 06 - 07 has a taller cylinder than the 04-05, so if you want to do that i think you need to put an 06 cylnder,piston, timeing chane, and head bolts too. I could be wrong but thats what they told me when I asked about putting the 06 +3 mm crank in my 04. If you found a athena cylinder kit for an 06 please let me know where you found it so far all i have found is the nmotion and its a grand. If its one of the ones that says 04-06 I was told that those actually only fit 04-05, agine i could be wrong but if any one knows for sure i would like to konw too.
